Forgotten Beauties
Description
The history of much of the Church is often told only around the most powerful orders, like Dominicans, Jesuits, Franciscans.
In this tour we will instead focus on two important but less known churches of Florence that belong or used to belong to minor orders. The church of Santa Trinita with important works of art of Lorenzo Monaco, Luca della Robbia and Ghirlandaio.
We will then walk to the church of Ognissanti, where standing below a stunningly painted ceiling we'll admire works of Giotto, Ghirlandaio, Botticelli (who is also buried here!).
