Santa Maria Novella
Description
Center of the dominicans, the most intellectual branch of the church, this great Gothic basilica has been home to popes and filosophers and now holds important examples of the evolution of art from the late 13th century to Renaissance and Mannerism. We will see works by Giotto, Masaccio, Paolo Uccello, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Filippino Lippi and Giorgio Vasari during this tour, spanning over three centuries.
